This resource is designed to give an insight into slavery, specifically looking at the Transatlantic Slave Trade. However this resource also offers the perspective of John Wesley in regards to slavery. The tasks enable students to develop their empathy skills.
Early on in the resource students can explore how slavery existed in biblical times and see how slavery has changed (or not changed) over time. The resource ends with looking at how slavery exists in the modern day.
If you find this resource useful, you might want to look at our modern day slavery resource as an extension of the topics covered here.
