This resource provides insight into The Gambia. A small country located on the West coast of Africa. Specifically this resource focuses on the work of The Methodist Mission Agricultural Programme.
In March 2015, World AIMS accompanied students and staff from Queens' College Taunton on their annual trip to the Gambia. It was on this trip that students visited the Programme and got to learn about how it works, why it exists and how it really helps to improve lives.
“MMAP seeks to find solutions which address the problem without the use of chemicals”
This resource gives us an account of the programme and could be useful for both RE or Geography. It could equally make an interesting case study for discussion in a less formal context.
This resource could be used for any students from Year Nine upwards.
