We support schools and academies
Methodist Schools are inclusive and welcoming communities where individuals are valued, good order is respected, relationships cherished, and where excellence in its widest sense (academic, extra-curricular, lifestyle) is pursued.
We aim to maintain high educational standards in all academic, cultural and sporting activities, stimulating excitement in learning and requiring discipline in study, whatever the child’s ability.

Since the founding of Kingswood School by John Wesley in 1748, Methodist Independent Schools have been providing a high quality, rounded and caring education. Today MIST oversees 10 independent schools and works closely with six other independent schools of Methodist foundation. MIST also works closely with schools in the maintained sector wherever possible.
MAST supports and offers guidance to 66 Methodist, or joint Methodist Anglican schools, in the state sector. MAST manages the SIAMS inspection process for Methodist schools and provides a forum where good practice can be shared and excellence celebrated.
The Epworth Education Trust and the Inspiring Lives Education Trust welcomes Community schools alongside our Methodist and joint Methodist/ Anglican partner schools, primary and secondary phase as well as alternative and special schools.
