Judith Fenn Judith is the newly appointed CEO of MIST (February 2023). She has spent her career working in and with schools after completing a history degree at Cambridge. She was a head of department, pastoral lead and deputy head before making the move to the Independent Schools Council and overseeing the induction of newly qualified teachers in independent schools. |
Julie-Ann Hewitt Julie-Ann has extensive educational leadership experience at both school and Trust level and has been involved in Methodist education for over 10 Years. She was the founding CEO of the Acorn Trust in the North West and has led it successfully for several years. She developed a vision for education within the Trust that focusses on providing academic success alongside opportunities to build cultural capital for all pupils. She has led school improvement within many schools across Wigan through the LA consortium model and has a successful track record of helping vulnerable schools make rapid progress. She has served as a Trustee of The Blyth Quays Trust and took up the role as interim CEO for 12 months to help secure their position. She has served as a Trustee for the Church she attends, Bridge Church Bolton, for many years and has recently led the structure re-organisation within the Church. |
Susan Roxby Sue joined MIST in April 2020 from a position as Bursar at Eltham College, a large London HMC school. She has spent her professional career working with schools both in the state and independent sectors, in the UK and overseas. She was previously UK Director of Operations for the GEMS group of schools, following 12 years spent as a management consultant in the Education team at PwC. Sue originally qualified as a teacher following her graduation from Cambridge University. |
Barbara Easton Barbara’s professional background is in school leadership and Religious Education. She joined MAST as Head of Service in 2019. She is also involved with the Methodist Church as a Local Preacher and youth club leader. |

Lynn Braybrook Lynn joined what was then Methodist Colleges and Schools in July 1993 after graduating in Mathematical and Management Studies at university. She qualified to become a full member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) in 2010. |
Sandra Commins Sandra joined MIST in 2008. She graduated from King's College London and the Open University (BA, MA) and worked for a number of years as Project Officer in the Civil Service where she gained experience in compliance and implementation of international directives. Sandra is the Data Protection Lead for MIST and MAST. |
Olabisi Olayinka Bisi joined MIST in January 2018. She graduated from Birkbeck College, University of London with a degree in Psychology. Bisi worked in the civil service for over two decades, in casework and business management roles. Her most recent stint was as a Business Manager at the Office of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman where she gained vast experience in committee support. |
